Diving Information:

  • Lies 3 miles South-East of Baginbun Head.
  • Lies on her starboard side but is badly broken up.
  • Steel wheelhouse, engine and winch are still recognisable.
  • Inhabited by congers and loads of fish.
  • Best dived at Slack Water.

Historical Information:

  • Owned by Oliver Tallon, Clogherhead, she was built in 1989 by the Maritem Boat Yard, Cork and was 68ft. long.
  • She was fishing for herring in fog when she collided with MFV Speckled Fort and sank in 13 minutes.
  • The prop was salvaged in 1990.
